Monday – Friday, term time only.
The Exams Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless, secure, and compliant delivery of all internal and external examinations. You will oversee the full examination cycle from initial entries to results day, strictly adhering to JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements. This high‑stakes environment requires a detail‑driven professional who can remain calm under pressure. The role is to start in September 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities- Planning, Entries & Compliance including coordinate exam entries, maintain regulatory compliance, manage accedd arrangements and budget control.
- Logistics & Exam Operations including timetabling, secure storage, staff management and communication.
- Data, Results & Contingency including MIS management, results days and incident management.
The Role
- Previous exams officer experience
- Proven experience handling data within a school Management Information System
- Working knowledge of the UK secondary education system and exam board structures
- Meticulous attention to detail
