GCSE & Functional Skills Maths Lecturer (Temporary, Full-Time)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced GCSE & Functional Skills Maths Lecturer to join a well-established college in West Yorkshire on a full‑time temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Maths lecturer who has experience delivering high‑quality teaching within the Further Education sector.

• Position: GCSE & Functional Skills Maths Lecturer
• Location: West Yorkshire
• Contract: Full-time, Temporary
• Pay Rate: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Deliver engaging and effective GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.

• Previous experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths within a Further Education college.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• A relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Competitive hourly rate of £30.00-£35.00 per hour.
• Full-time hours.
