  Manage student progress, and bring real‑world criminology and public service concepts to life.

• Play a vital role in designing vibrant, creative resources that captivate and inspire future criminologists and youth justice practitioners. By seamlessly blending real‑world case studies, theoretical frameworks, and digital teaching methods, you will equip learners with the critical analytical skills, psychological insights, and ethical behaviours needed to thrive in the justice sector and beyond. You will also champion student success by actively tracking data and guiding their progress toward outstanding personal achievements.
• As a highly motivated and supportive team player, your exceptional interpersonal skills will shine. You will collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and leadership to turn strategic academic visions into impactful, engaging classroom realities.

• Hold a vocational qualification at Level 5 or above, and a relevant teaching qualification and assessor award, or be willing to work towards.
• Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or be willing to work towards.

You will work as part of the curriculum team of Sport and Public Services at Dearne Valley College, and take direction from the Curriculum Team Leader. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
