We are currently recruiting Maths Lecturers and Teachers across South Yorkshire to deliver A Level, GCSE, and Functional Skills Maths within schools and FE colleges. Whether you specialise in academic pathways or resit provision, we have opportunities to suit your experience.
The RoleYou will deliver high-quality Maths teaching across A Level, GCSE, and/or Functional Skills, supporting learners to achieve strong outcomes and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
Key responsibilities include:- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across your specialism
- Teach A Level, GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths
- Differentiate lessons to support mixed-ability and resit learners
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Support learners with exam preparation and confidence building
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and departmental success
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching A Level, GCSE or Functional Skills Maths
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage learners
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with in Further Education or Sixth Form settings
- Strong results with GCSE resit learners
- Ability to teach across multiple levels (FS, GCSE, A Level)
