Academics is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic PE Teacher to join secondary schools across Calderdale. We are seeking teachers who are passionate about encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork and a lifelong love of physical activity.

As a PE Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Teach practical and theoretical elements of Physical Education.
• Promote participation and healthy lifestyles.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Organise extracurricular activities where required.
• Maintain excellent behaviour and classroom management.
• Support the wider school community.

Applicants should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching PE within UK secondary schools.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• A passion for sport and education.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
