We're Hiring SEND Teaching Assistant Join the Teacher Active Team!

Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Teacher Active is recruiting enthusiastic SEND TAs to support pupils with a range of additional needs in welcoming schools and specialist settings.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
• Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and social development.
• Support children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other learning difficulties.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
