Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic English GCSE Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire.

This is a part time temporary role, 4 full days per week, Monday
- Thursday to start Thursday 10th September - 12th November initially.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English GCSE lessons to post-16 learners, supporting them to achieve their full academic potential. The successful candidate will be confident in planning, delivering and assessing GCSE English lessons in line with current awarding body requirements.

• Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English lessons
• Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans aligned to the curriculum
• Assess, track and monitor learner progress
• Provide constructive feedback and support to learners
• Prepare students for exams in line with Edexcel 2.0 specifications
• Maintain accurate records in line with internal and external quality standards

• Proven experience delivering GCSE English
• Strong knowledge of Edexcel 2.0 specification
• Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / DET or equivalent)
• Degree in English or a related subject
• Strong classroom management skills

• Experience teaching within Further Education
• Experience supporting resit learners

Candidate must have a current DBS
