Teacher Active is proud to be working with a small independent nursery in central York, who are looking to welcome a Nursery Practitioner into their preschool room. The nursery offers a friendly working environment with flexibility for candidates looking for either part-time or full-time hours.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work within the preschool room, supporting children's learning and development while providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Experience working with children within an Early Years or nursery setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's development
Reliability and flexibility
A caring and nurturing attitude
