We are looking for enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a welcoming and inclusive school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teaching assistants, support workers, care professionals, or individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in education.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence both academically and socially. You will work alongside teachers and SEN professionals to provide tailored support that enables every learner to reach their potential.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalised support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional learning needs.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in lessons.
  • Assist with behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
