We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Electrician or current Electrical Assessor to join a dynamic team of educators and inspire the next generation of Electricians.

Role ResponsibilitiesDelivering workplace and workshop-based assessments to evaluate apprentice and learner competence against NVQ Level 3 and Electrotechnical standards.
Conducting regular progress reviews and site visits across employer workplaces to track learner development and milestone completion.
Gathering, verifying, and marking portfolio evidence to ensure full compliance with awarding body requirements (City & Guilds / EAL).
Carrying out practical assessment observations, end-point assessment (EPA) preparation, and diagnostic feedback sessions with learners.
Supporting unqualified learners and apprentices in understanding BS 7671 wiring regulations, health and safety standards, and practical testing procedures.
Maintaining accurate digital records, tracking systems, and assessment logs to monitor attendance, retention, and timely achievement rates.
Collaborating with college teaching staff, internal quality assurers (IQAs), and employer supervisors to align training schedules and address performance gaps.
Ensuring all assessment practices strictly adhere to college quality assurance processes, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding guidelines.
- A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical.
- Extensive industry experience in the Electrical industry.
- An Assessing qualification or willingness to work towards one.
