Teacher Active is proud to be working with a small independent nursery in central York who are looking to welcome a Nursery Assistant to their team. The nursery benefits from a long-standing staff team and provides a supportive environment for both children and staff.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with their learning, development and daily routines, with the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Experience working with or caring for young children

• A willingness to work towards a Level 2 qualification in Childcare

• A positive and caring approach to supporting children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A reliable and adaptable approach
