Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer (Temporary, Full-Time)

Morgan Hunt currently recruiting for an experienced GCSE & Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer to join a well-established college in South Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated functional skills lecturer who has experience delivering high-quality teaching within the Further Education sector.

Role Details
  • Position: GCSE & Functional Skills English & Maths Lecturer (Entry level 1 to level
    1)
  • Location: South Yorkshire
  • Contract: Full-time, Temporary (37 Hours per week Monday to Friday)
  • Pay Rate: £26.00 - £31.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills English & Maths lessons to students from entry level to level 1.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience teaching Functional Skills English & Maths within a Further Education college or Training Provider
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
  • A relevant degree or recognised qualification in a related subject.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
