Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in York who are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and confident Physics Teacher. The school is looking for a committed teacher who can engage pupils and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Physics Teacher on a part–time to full–time basis, starting ASAP and teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Physics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and demonstrating excellent classroom and behaviour management.

The successful Physics Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Physics or Science specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Physics and/or Science across KS3 and KS4
• Strong lesson planning and curriculum knowledge
• Excellent classroom management
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
