Hours
:30.8 hours per week, 0.83fte (20 teaching hours per week)
Salary
:

Up to £43,408 pro rata per annum* (please see salary guidance attached). Plus generous benefits. These include:

  • 57 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)
  • Generous Occupational Pension Scheme
  • Financial support towards teacher training course fees if you do not have a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE)

* Progression beyond point 12 of the salary scale (£40,407) is subject to Tutors obtaining QTLS. Staff with Advanced Teacher Status (ATS) via the Society for Education and Training (SET) are eligible to receive an enhanced salary of £44,875 - please see attached salary guidance for further details.

About the Person

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring educator to join our supportive and welcoming team, bringing with them a genuine passion for Psychology and a commitment to helping every learner achieve their potential. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Psychology, ideally across A Level and BTEC Applied Psychology, and will be confident in creating engaging, inclusive and challenging learning experiences for students with a range of abilities and aspirations.

An ability or willingness to contribute to the delivery of our WJEC Level 3 Criminology Diploma would also be welcomed.

You will be joining a well-resourced department where collaboration, creativity and sharing good practice are at the heart of what we do.
