About the role
Are you passionate about Mathematics and committed to helping learners succeed? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics tutor to join our team, focusing on GCSE classes for 16-18-year-old students. In this role, you’ll do more than teach-you’ll inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and support learners in reaching their full academic potential. Your guidance will play a vital role in helping students progress and take the next steps toward their future goals.
About the person
You’ll bring a strong foundation in Mathematics, holding at least a Level 3 qualification, with a relevant degree (or equivalent) highly desirable. A recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) is desirable, or you’ll be ready to work towards one with our support.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative teacher with experience delivering GCSE Mathematics, ideally within an FE setting. Familiarity with the new 9-1 GCSE Mathematics specification and experience teaching GCSE Mathematics and Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills (post-2019) to diverse learners will set you apart.
Beyond subject expertise, you’ll demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and show a strong commitment to teamwork, high-quality teaching, and student success. If you’re passionate about helping learners achieve their goals and shaping their future, we’d love to hear from you.
