Health and Social Care Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Bradford & Calderdale Pay: Daily rate to scale Contract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities)

Academics are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis across secondary schools and colleges in Bradford and Calderdale.

This role involves delivering engaging lessons in Health and Social Care through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve their academic and vocational goals.

• Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students' academic and personal development
• Work collaboratively with school staff and departments
• Maintain high standards of classroom management

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Health and Social Care (BTEC, OCR, or similar)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
