Field Service Engineer

Location:

North Yorkshire (UK & some International Travel)

Salary: £45,000+ market rate allowance £55,000 + overtime & travel allowances

We’re looking for an experienced Service & Commissioning Engineer with strong electrical or mechanical skills who’s ready for UK and international travel and hands‑on technical work.

The Role

Install and commission machinery across the UK and overseas
Deliver customer training and on‑site technical support
Diagnose electrical control and mechanical issues
Produce accurate service reports
Take part in a paid on‑call rota
Represent the company professionally at customer sites worldwide

About You

ONC/HNC in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
Strong electrical control knowledge; mechanically confident
Self‑sufficient, calm under pressure, able to meet deadlines
Flexible for frequent UK & international travel
PC literate (Siemens/Nidec experience desirable)
Excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence
