BMS Engineer

We have an opportunity for a BMS Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Yorkshire, responsible for the maintenance and additional works on commercial building management systems as part of a mobile service team. This field‑based role requires travel and on‑call commitments.

• Carry out maintenance and service activities on BMS, HVAC plant and controls, and quote additional works for customers.
• Quote small projects from design to commissioning and participate in the delivery team, including software programming and panel modifications/retrofits.
• Fault find, diagnose, and repair customers’ BMS and HVAC systems, advising clients on emergency, maintenance, testing, and repair of equipment, both hardware and software.
• Provide technical support for Honeywell‑installed products and HVAC systems.
• Support the account manager with new opportunities within the area and current customers.

• Prior experience in BMS engineering and HVAC, with strong technical knowledge of integrated systems and HVAC technologies across service maintenance and commissioning.
• Experience with BMS software programming and graphics.
• Integrative thinker capable of learning third‑party technologies and exploring solutions on live and bench environments.
• Electrical competency accreditation such as 18‑th Edition/ECS Electrical certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
