Fire Engineer – Sheffield Office

In your role as a Fire Engineer, your engagement will encompass all aspects of the fire engineering cycle. We seek a versatile professional who can play a pivotal role in a dynamic, high‑growth environment. You'll collaborate with a creative, innovative, and tech‑savvy team. While your role will be multifaceted, your primary responsibility will be leading the design and implementation of fire strategies across various projects, including super‑high‑rise buildings, data centres, airports, rail infrastructure, malls, boutique office structures, theatres, stadiums, hospitals, and everything in between.

As a Fire Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of fire engineering. In the early stages of project design, your role will embrace working with the internal team to take on a range of tasks to ensure that the Project Design Team is aware of the implications that their decisions have on the fire safety strategy of the building.

This may require an in‑depth analysis of the design, which could include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), smoke control calculations or evacuation modelling, depending on the situation.
