My client is a firm of engineering consultants with offices across the UK. They are looking for a Civil Technician based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, to support a variety of building and civil infrastructure projects.

• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support the design of civil infrastructure, including local roads, residential, and underground drainage systems.
• Prepare and check engineering calculations and technical output such as drawings and reports.
• Ensure quality and consistency of the team's technical deliverables.
• Communicate with contractors during construction and liaise with statutory bodies such as Water Companies, Local Authorities and the Environment Agency.
• Support the team in maintaining project documentation and technical standards.

• Post‑graduation qualification in Civil Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Civil Technician in a UK consulting engineering firm.
• Experience with local roads, underground drainage systems and road standards suitable for residential and other buildings.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.

Salary £30,000‑£40,000 per annum (negotiable) plus pension and a range of benefits including training towards becoming chartered with the ICE, personal health care plan, life insurance and 25 days holiday.
