Bridge / Civil Structures Engineering Technician

Position with ARUP in Leeds, United Kingdom. This role focuses on delivering reinforced concrete (RC) detailing and related design outputs within the Bridge and Civil Structures team.

• Produce RC detailing, 2D drawings and 3D models across all project stages from concept through to construction.
• Support BIM coordination and information management, coordinating across disciplines and ensuring outputs meet client and project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, buildable solutions for infrastructure projects in heavy civil, rail, roads and streets sectors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through internal networks, and support the development of junior technicians.

• Sound technical base in civil engineering, ideally with exposure to bridges and civil structures.
• Experience in producing and checking RC reinforcement drawings, 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
• Understanding of BIM processes, with coordination across disciplines and information management tools such as Project Wise.
• Ability to manage own workload effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality; thriving in collaborative environments and supporting junior technicians.
