The Opportunity

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll become a key member of a high‑performing commercial team, taking ownership of the commercial management of a major EPC infrastructure project from delivery through to final account.

Working closely with operational teams, clients and the wider commercial function, you’ll ensure robust financial control, maximise project profitability and help drive commercial excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities, driving value engineering where appropriate
  • Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation, measurement and commercial records
  • Support project reviews and contribute to the successful commercial delivery of the scheme
About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with excellent relationship‑building skills and enjoys working in a collaborative project environment.

  • HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or an ambitious Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Previous experience within civil engineering, utilities, energy or major infrastructure projects
  • RICS or ICES membership (or actively working towards Chartership)
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
What’s On Offer
  • Excellent basic salary
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • Annual salary reviews
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Option to buy additional annual leave (increasing with service)
  • Competitive contributory pension scheme
  • Life assurance and private health screening
  • Enhanced company sick pay
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Structured training and clear career progression opportunities
  • Flexible benefits package including retail discounts, gym memberships and Cycle to Work scheme
