We are currently recruiting for an on-site Fridge Engineer / Transport Refrigeration Engineer to join an established transport and logistics operation with a fleet of 50+ HGVs and trailers, including refrigerated vehicles.

The candidate will be responsible for keeping the company's refrigerated vehicles operational and ensuring refrigeration units are maintained to a high standard.

• Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units on HGVs, trailers and vans
• Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration faults
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Working on fridge/freezer units across the commercial vehicle fleet
• Identifying mechanical and refrigeration issues and resolving them efficiently
• Helping minimise vehicle downtime across the fleet

• We are looking for someone who is mechanically minded and has practical experience working with refrigerated vehicles or refrigeration systems.
• Previous experience as a Fridge Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Transport Refrigeration Engineer
• Experience working on commercial vehicles, HGVs, trailers or vans
• F-Gas certification or relevant refrigeration gas qualification
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)
