The Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be learning to develop ground models and designing structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles and reinforced soil slopes on a range of residential and commercial projects. Engineers will also be conducting ground movement assessments and supporting the wider team. The Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be offered: A competitive salary (£26,000 - £29,000).

Have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred). Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence. Be commutable to York and the surrounding area. Have a full right to work in the UK. Experience in Geotechnical Engineering and understanding of soil mechanics (with experience using softwares such as , AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP) is preferable but not essential.
