Financial Controller

We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a fast-growing fashion supplier, supporting major high street and online retailers.

The Finance Manager will play a key role within the business, and be responsible for overseeing financial operations, driving performance, and partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

• Lead day-to-day financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear analysis and insight
• Partner with commercial and merchandising teams to support margin, pricing, and cost control
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and supplier payments as well as stock levels
• Oversee stock accounting and inventory reporting
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role
• Experience with in fashion, retail, or wholesale is highly desirable
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
