Senior Management Accountant

Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a well established and successful growth business based in central York, who are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to the team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in delivering fast, accurate and insightful financial information that enables confident decision-making ll work closely with their US teams, helping to build a one team approach across borders. This role requires agility, strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset to support a rapidly scaling business.

Your accountabilities will be to:

Take ownership of monthly US management accounts and year-end financial statements, delivering accurate and timely financial performance insight.

Ensuring full compliance with US tax, audit and regulatory obligations.

Contributing to group financial reporting, including consolidations and statutory audit.

Providing high-quality financial analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making.

Driving continuous improvement in finance processes to support scaling and efficiency.
