Contract:

6 Months Morson are recruiting on behalf of a leading global aerospace and defence client for a Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a six-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to support financial reporting across defence programmes while contributing to future bid campaigns within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities Process payroll journals and support payroll activities Maintain fixed asset registers, including control and monitoring Prepare and submit VAT returns Complete balance sheet reconciliations Raise and manage intercompany invoices Support statutory audit activities and provide required documentation Produce Forex reporting and analysis Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting Support financial reporting for defence projects and future bid campaigns Essential Skills & Experience Strong understanding of finance principles with experience in payroll, fixed asset control, invoicing and Forex reporting Experience preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end processes Knowledge of VAT returns and statutory audit support Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong report writing and documentation abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines Solid understanding of work package management and work package control Knowledge of risk management principles This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised aerospace and defence organisation, working on high-profile programmes while gaining valuable experience within a collaborative and professional finance team.
