Pay:
From £12.97 per hour (Waking Night Weekday rate)

Shift: Waking Nights (9:30pm - 7:30am)

Avalon Group has an exciting new service in Heworth, York (Adult Social Care), supporting four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives – we are looking for experienced and compassionate Waking Night Support Workers to provide safe, attentive support throughout the night.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people we support overnight.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide attentive overnight support and monitoring
• Respond promptly to health or wellbeing needs during the night
• Support individuals with epilepsy, diabetes and other enhanced health needs
• Maintain accurate records and handovers for the day team
• Promote dignity, reassurance and person‑centred care at all times

What We’re Looking For

Previous care experience required

• Experience with epilepsy, diabetes, non‑verbal support or enhanced health‑related support needs is highly desirable
• Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
