Avalon Group has an exciting new service in Heworth, York (Adult Social Care), supporting four ladies to live independent, fulfilling lives — and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate Support Workers to help make this happen.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of the people we support.
What You’ll Be Doing- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs
- Supporting people with daily living, independence and wellbeing
- Working with enhanced health-related support needs
- Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion every day
Previous care experience required
- Experience with epilepsy, diabetes, non-verbal support or enhanced health-related support needs is highly desirable
- Compassionate, reliable and caring individuals
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
