Live In Care Assistant

As a Live‑in Care Assistant, you will support vulnerable people in their own homes, providing companionship, personal care and assistance with daily living activities. You will help with tasks such as shopping, mealtimes, and housework, ensuring clients' safety and well‑being.

• Offer day‑to‑day companionship and support to clients.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication reminders.
• Help with activities of daily living such as washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Provide assistance with practical tasks such as shopping, mealtimes, and light housework.
• Maintain a private room and take scheduled breaks, ensuring self‑care and compliance with the care home's standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report any changes in a client's condition.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in care is advantageous, but we also value compassion, resilience and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a close‑knit team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Suitable to work under shift schedules and live‑in conditions.
