We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Care of the Elderly on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Providing services in Elderly Medicine for in-patients and outpatients, in collaboration with Consultant and Senior colleagues.

Participating in the out-of-hours on-call service, including providing telephone advice and managing major incidents, as well as covering colleagues' leave.

Engaging in medical audits and research as appropriate.

Playing an active role in the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
