The job:

This is a casual post to support a young lady approaching 40. She has mild Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy. She is independent, energetic, loves to laugh, enjoys socialising and lives in the Derwenthorpe area of York.

The job role involves support with personal care.

Duties include:

light housework, cooking, prompting medication, shopping and supporting to socialise and enjoy activities in the wider community.

Your role will be to cover sickness and holiday shifts for other staff.

The rates of pay and benefits:

£12.41 per hour and £81.92 per sleep in.

You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.
