Responsibilities Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference? We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Intermediate Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people recover, regain independence and remain safely in their own homes. You will work with individuals following illness, injury or hospital admission, delivering rehabilitation and reablement interventions that promote recovery and improve quality of life.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is motivated to contribute to service development and provide professional leadership within the multidisciplinary team. You will act as a specialist Occupational Therapy resource, supporting colleagues with clinical decision-making, promoting evidence-based practice, and helping to drive high standards of patient care and rehabilitation outcomes. Alongside managing your own caseload, you will play an active role in guiding and supporting therapy assistants, rehabilitation support workers, students and less experienced colleagues.
You will help foster a positive team culture, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support the ongoing development of rehabilitation services across Intermediate Care.
