An ambitious and growing independent commercial insurance brokerage is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join its friendly team of six in Billericay. The business is going through a significant period of growth and continues to invest in its people, organic business acquisitions, and long-term development. Commercial Account Handler – Benefits Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience 28 days' annual holiday including bank holidays Option to purchase up to an additional 5 days' holiday Private medical insurance after 6 months service Death in service benefit Pension Opportunities to develop and progress within the company Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, usually 5pm on Fridays Commercial Account Handler - Work Environment You will be working in a brand-new, modern high-street office which they have completely fitted out, so everything is new and finished to an extremely high standard.

The main office is open plan, with separate meeting rooms and offices, with a kitchen/breakout area and plenty of space as they continue to grow the team. It is a professional environment but still relaxed and friendly, and being a smaller team there is a good atmosphere in the office, and everyone works closely together. Commercial Account Handler – Responsibilities Handle a portfolio of SME/commercial insurance clients Deal directly with clients and insurers Manage commercial insurance renewals Process mid-term adjustments Provide ongoing client servicing Build and maintain strong client relationships Provide an organised and professional service to clients Commercial Account Handler – Requirements Two plus years’ experience in commercial insurance Good understanding of the commercial insurance market Knowledge of common commercial insurance product lines Comfortable dealing directly with clients and insurers Good communication and organisational skills Ambitious with a positive attitude and desire to develop within a growing brokerage Cert CII would be advantageous, but this is not essential Apply now!
