An established legal practice is seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Secretary to join its Private Client team. The role involves providing dedicated support to solicitors working in Probate and Estate Administration, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department and the delivery of a high-quality service to clients. This position would suit a proactive and reliable individual who is comfortable managing a varied workload with care, accuracy, and discretion.

The successful candidate will bring strong organisational skills, a professional and approachable manner, and the sensitivity required when supporting clients during difficult or emotional circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing legal documents and professional correspondence
  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support
  • Managing diaries and appointments
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial records and the distribution of funds
  • Liaising with clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Handling telephone and general enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate document management and filing systems
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department
