The Role
An established regional law firm with a strong presence across the Hull and York markets is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its busy and expanding Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-integrated department that services a diverse and loyal client base across the region and beyond.
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases and remortgages, delivering clear, practical advice and ensuring transactions progress efficiently from instruction through to completion. The role requires a proactive approach to file management, consistent communication with clients and third parties, and adherence to regulatory and internal quality standards. You will play an active role in supporting the team’s continued growth while maintaining the high levels of service the firm is known for.
The Ideal CandidateThe firm is looking to speak with qualified Conveyancers, Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives with between two and five years’ post-qualification experience in residential property matters. You will be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to client care. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders. A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute positively to a growing team culture will be key to success in this role.
BenefitsThe firm offers a competitive salary reflective of experience, alongside the opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will join a growing team with a strong regional reputation and a consistent pipeline of quality work.
Career progression is actively encouraged, with ongoing professional development and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop within the department. The firm prides itself on fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, where teamwork and professional standards go hand in hand.
