About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a school in the YO24 area. You'll play an important part in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal spaces
Sanitising toilets and washrooms
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and general dusting
Emptying bins and managing waste appropriately
Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
Using cleaning products and equipment safely
Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures

About You

Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Professional and positive attitude
Must pass (or be willing to undergo) an enhanced DBS check
