Senior Cleaner

• Ensure teams clean all specified areas as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor in accordance with the specification for Building Cleaning Services and in line with all safety and security measures.
• Monitor and organize cover for sickness.
• Monitor performance and welfare of teams.
• Carry out site quality inspections and quality control with Cleaning Supervisors.
• Provide emergency cover and transportation during staff shortages within the geographic area.
• Ensure maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals.
• Use cleaning tools such as steam cleaner and floor buffers as required.

• Experience working to specifications.
• Full driving licence and ability to use vehicle as required.
• Experience with computer packages such as Word and Excel.
• BIC trained or willing to work towards qualification.
• Trained in Chemical identification (COSHH) or willing to work towards qualification.
• Willing to work unsociable hours as required.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Industrial/Commercial cleaning work history or equivalent, ideally NVQ Level 2.
