Job TitleSenior Cleaner
Key Responsibilities- Ensure teams clean all specified areas as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor in accordance with the specification for Building Cleaning Services and in line with all safety and security measures.
- Monitor and organize cover for sickness.
- Monitor performance and welfare of teams.
- Carry out site quality inspections and quality control with Cleaning Supervisors.
- Provide emergency cover and transportation during staff shortages within the geographic area.
- Ensure maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
- Handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals.
- Use cleaning tools such as steam cleaner and floor buffers as required.
- Experience working to specifications.
- Full driving licence and ability to use vehicle as required.
- Experience with computer packages such as Word and Excel.
- BIC trained or willing to work towards qualification.
- Trained in Chemical identification (COSHH) or willing to work towards qualification.
- Willing to work unsociable hours as required.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Industrial/Commercial cleaning work history or equivalent, ideally NVQ Level 2.
