We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at a school in Fulford, York.

Working Hours

During School Holidays:
Monday to Friday, 3.5 hours a day, 17.5 hours weekly (flexible start time between 08:00am – 11:30am).

Normal hours:
Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm – 7:00pm;
Friday, 1:30pm– 5:30pm.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the school.

Duties include

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Following all health and safety procedures
Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate including the Children’s Barred List is essential
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail

£12.71 per hour
