We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at a school in Fulford York.

Working Hours:

During School Holidays

Monday to Friday 3.5 hours a day 17.5 hours weekly

(flexible start time between 08:00am 11:30am)

Normal hours

• Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm 7:00pm
• Friday: 1:30pm 5:30pm

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment throughout the school.

Duties include:

• Cleaning classrooms corridors offices and communal areas
• Vacuuming mopping dusting and sanitizing surfaces
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Following all health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements

• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate including the Childrens Barred List is essential.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable trustworthy and able to work independently.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Salary

12.71 per hour

Please note:

Applications will only be considered from candidates who already hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate including the Childrens Barred List or will be happy to be put forward for an Enhanced DBS
