Acomb Manor is preparing to welcome its very first residents, and we're looking for an exceptional Housekeeper to join our opening team.

We're looking for someone who understands that housekeeping is about far more than cleaning. It's about creating an atmosphere where residents can live happily, comfortably and with dignity.
What You'll Be Doing Creating a Home to Be Proud OfMaintain exceptional standards of cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring all areas are welcoming, comfortable and beautifully presented.
Taking Pride in the DetailsEnsure bedrooms, lounges, bathrooms and communal areas remain spotless, organised and inviting.
Supporting Resident WellbeingRecognise that a clean, comfortable environment contributes significantly to residents' happiness, safety and quality of life.
Maintaining Excellent StandardsFollow cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures to ensure consistently high standards throughout the home.
Supporting Daily OperationsManage cleaning supplies, report maintenance concerns and help ensure all housekeeping equipment is safe and well maintained.
Working as One TeamBuild positive relationships with residents, colleagues and visitors while contributing to a caring and supportive culture.
Promoting SafetySupport the home's Health & Safety, COSHH and infection prevention procedures to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
About YouWe're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys making a difference.
You’ll ideally have:- Previous experience within housekeeping, domestic services, hospitality or cleaning.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Good organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring and respectful approach when interacting with residents.
Most importantly, you'll understand that maintaining a beautiful environment is an important part of delivering exceptional care.
