Deputy Care Manager – £46,000

Location: York
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our established care service in York, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to older people, including those living with dementia.

This is a key leadership role working closely with the Registered Manager. You will support the day-to-day management of the service, lead and develop the care team, maintain high standards and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and dignified care.

We are looking for someone with:

• Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification
  , or willingness to work towards it.
• Proven Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager or strong Senior Care experience
  .
• A strong background in elderly and dementia care
  .
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A good understanding of safeguarding, care planning and CQC requirements.
• The confidence to lead a team and take responsibility.
• A stable employment history with demonstrable longevity in previous roles
  .
