General Operative, Manufacturing ​/ Production

General Operative We're recruiting General Operatives for a well-established manufacturing business in Pocklington. This is a hands-on role with temp-to-perm opportunities. No Weekends! £13.43 – £15.45 per hour (depending on shift) Rotating

Shifts:

Week 1:
Mon–Fri, 06:00–14:00 Week 2:
Mon–Thu, 13:45–23:45 Fixed

Shift: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:00

The Role Your main responsibility will be ripping & tipping 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels. You'll also support general manufacturing tasks including:
Basic machine operation Quality checks Keeping work areas clean and safe Following chemical and process safety procedures Helping across different production areas when needed What We're Looking For Comfortable with manual lifting (25kg) Good safety awareness Reliable, positive and willing to learn Able to work rotating shifts Production experience helpful but not essential Due to the location, own transport is required unless you live in Pocklington.
