WINDOW & DOOR FABRICATOR (WF17)

Location: JADE Windows & Doors, 622 Bradford Road, Batley, WF17 8HF

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 6:00am to 12:00pm

Pay: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Window & Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Batley.

• Manufacturing aluminium and uPVC windows and doors
• Reading and following production drawings and specifications
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling window and door components
• Fitting glazing, hardware and other components
• Operating fabrication machinery, equipment and hand tools safely
• Completing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Identifying and reporting defects, material issues or equipment faults
• Working safely and following all production procedures
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Working with the wider team to meet production requirements
• Supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation

• Has proven experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors - essential
• Has proven experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors - essential
• Produces work to a consistently high standard
• Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
• Always puts safety and quality first
• Can work independently and manage their workload effectively
• Can work at pace without compromising quality
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Is flexible and willing to support other production activities when required
