Fabricator Welder
Location: Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
The Opportunity Castle Employment is recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Kirkbymoorside.

Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and weld components to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Accurately measure, mark out, cut, prepare and assemble materials.
- Carry out welding to the required quality and safety standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and welding symbols.
- Check completed components against measurements and tolerances.
- Operate workshop machinery, tools and fabrication equipment safely.
- Identify and resolve fabrication or welding issues during production.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.
- Work independently and as part of the wider production team.
- Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder within engineering or manufacturing.
- Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.
- Strong hands-on fabrication, fitting and welding experience.
- Ability to work accurately to measurements and tolerances.
- Good understanding of workshop machinery and health and safety.
- Relevant apprenticeship, NVQ or welding/fabrication qualifications would be advantageous.
- Reliable, practical and quality-focused approach to work.
37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
- Flexitime available.
- Monday to Saturday:
Time and a half. - Sunday:
Double time.
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
