Our event volunteers are just as important to us as those taking part in events – you don’t have to be a marathon runner to make a difference. Join us in cheering on our incredible supporters and give them that extra push they need to get across the finish line.

Why we want youWe need you to provide a wonderful experience for Yorkshire Cancer Research runners, raise brand awareness for the charity and help save lives in Yorkshire. We know from speaking to our fundraisers that the cheers they hear on the day really help to encourage them to reach the finish line.
What you will be doing- Cheering Yorkshire Cancer Research runners on as they pass you.
- No prior experience is needed, just lots of enthusiasm.
- An opportunity to give back and help Yorkshire Cancer Research fundraisers.
- Make a day of it and encourage friends and family to volunteer too.
- Ability to claim for lunch and travel expenses.
We need proof of home address for all Yorkshire Cancer Research volunteers. Please bring this with you on the day.
