Senior Carer

Wetherby Home Care are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Carer to join the exsisting Senior team. Weekend and evening availiblity required.

Regular duties include but are not limited to:

1. Do Direct Observations as directed by the Management and provide accurate feedback

2. Do Spot checks as directed by the Management and provide accurate feedback

3. Do client calls as required.

4. Do new client introductions as required

5. Work alongside carers to improve their performance and provide feedback

6. Assist in keeping Care Plans in the clients homes up to date and keeping the folders tidy and topped up

7. Assist in the distribution of paperwork , medications , pads etc as required

8. In conjunction with the Registered Manager and the Assistant Manager focus on a few targeted clients at a time to review and improve our service making it fully appropriate for the individual client.

9. Regular shifts to be scheduled to suit WHC requirements and yourself. This will include some morning, evening and weekend working.

10. You will be expected to be available to cover sickness, as a last resort, outside of your normal availability.

11. You will be expected to participate in the on call rota as required.

12. Other duties may be added from time to time as specified by the Registered Manager.

MUST HAVE USE OF A VEHICLE FOR WORK PURPOSES.
