Imagine working in a new, spacious, purpose-built facility equipped with a state-of-the-art poultry post-mortem room and laboratory. The practice boasts a large farm dispensary and warehousing, ensuring you have all the resources needed to excel. With a high calibre field support team and dedicated admin staff, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key duties and responsibilities:- Conduct 1 to 2 farm visits daily to assess sick birds, perform brood reviews and provide training or general support.
- Carry out post-mortems, take samples, and handle phone enquiries.
- Advise on disease prevention strategies, health planning, and management.
- Cover audit requirements to maintain high standards of clinical service.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Experience in poultry veterinary care is desirable but not essential;
new graduates are encouraged to apply. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This role offers favourable terms and long-term prospects for the right candidate. Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £35k for new graduates up to £60k for experienced vets.
