Are you an Assistant Technical Manager, Technical Supervisor or experienced Quality professional ready to take the next step into Technical Manager?
Castle Employment Group is recruiting for an established food manufacturer in North Yorkshire offering an excellent opportunity for someone ready to progress into a site Technical leadership role.
You don't necessarily need to have held the Technical Manager title before. We're looking for someone with strong food manufacturing experience who understands technical standards, food safety and compliance, has experience leading people and is ready for greater responsibility.
You’ll report to the Senior Operations Manager and take ownership of the site's Technical function, with the opportunity to develop your leadership experience and make a genuine impact on standards across the operation.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading food safety, quality and technical standards across the site
- Managing and developing the Technical and Quality team
- Supporting and leading customer, certification and external audits
- Managing HACCP, GMP and food safety systems
- Overseeing internal audits, traceability and technical documentation
- Investigating non-conformances, complaints and quality issues
- Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Working closely with Production and Engineering to resolve issues
- Monitoring CCPs and key production controls
- Supporting improvements to technical systems and processes
- Driving a positive food safety and quality culture across the site
This could suit someone currently working as an:
- Assistant Technical Manager
- Technical Supervisor
- Quality Manager
- QA Manager
- Senior Technical or Quality professional with leadership responsibility
You’ll need solid experience within food manufacturing and a good working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, audits, food safety and quality management systems.
Most importantly, you’ll be ready to step up, take greater ownership and develop into a site Technical leadership position.
Experience with in a specific food category isn’t essential. We’re interested in strong technical capability, leadership potential and someone who is confident working closely with operational teams.
Package- £58,000 - £62,000 salary
