Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC

Contract: 6 months with the potential to become permanent subject to organisational requirements & performance.

Location: Hybrid Working, with regular travel across Trust services and sites as required.

Hours: Full Time - 38 hours a week.

The Wilberforce Trust supports people with sight loss and other disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Compliance Officer to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different areas of an organisation, supporting quality, governance, compliance and continuous improvement. Whether you already have compliance experience or have developed transferable skills in administration, coordination, quality assurance or health and social care, we'd love to hear from you.

Working closely with our Compliance Lead and managers across the Trust, you will help ensure we maintain high standards of quality, compliance and governance. You will support audits, maintain records and reports, coordinate processes and help drive continuous improvement across our services.

This varied role offers the opportunity to work with teams across the organisation and develop knowledge in areas such as governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, risk management and data protection.

• Has experience working within health or social care, or can demonstrate transferable experience from a similar regulated environment.
• Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively with others.
• Is confident using IT systems and producing reports.
• Shares our commitment to supporting people with disabilities.
